These last three (the ones on the right) have been better likenesses. Are you doing something different?

While I was drawing this first one (on the left), I thought it wasn't too bad. And then I drew the second one and I thought, hey, it looks even more like her -- still thinking I hadn't done too poorly on the first one. But then after I scanned 'em and put them together on one document, I saw the first drawing and thought to myself -- ugh! The first drawing missed by a mile! How could I have thought that looked like her at all!
Long story short, I have no idea what I'm doing.

I think it is the lip curl that makes
the drawing work.
