I've been enjoying the movies on Turner Classic Movies' new program, TCM Underground. Exploitation movies, monster movies, Russ Meyer movies, all stuff that is way out of place on Turner Classic, but if they want to show 'em instead of a 50th showing of "Operation Petticoat," that's fine with me.
Current-day exploitation movie maker and rock star, Rob Zombie, was the host for the first batch of movies. But he's been dropped and now there's just a Zombie-esque guy running around in a brief credits sequence.
That's okay. Zombie didn't seem comfortable playing the host. And as long as TCM keeps on showing those odd and awful movies, I won't miss him too much.
