"Bicyclists Stop On [arrow, bike] For Green"

What does this mean? I'm assuming it means "Bicyclists should stop here on red," but that's not what it says. The pictures aren't helping. Spotted at a stop light on Hewitt where it crosses Snelling.

That's a classic in the annals of unintelligible signs. Is the sign meant to point to one of those "bike boxes" they're going to be painting at all the lights on Hennepin and 1st Avenue now that they're returning to two-way streets?

There wasn't anything unusual painted on the street. Just the usual two white pedestrian crossing lines.

Maybe there are plans.
